Rules

Eligibility: Members are voted in by current members and are required to pay yearly dues of $15. Fisherman must be 18 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. All boaters must have liability insurance equal or greater than $100,000.00.

Take Off & Weigh In: It is the responsibility of all members to help with take off or weight-in as needed. Live-well checks will be done on the water during takeoff. Tournament weigh in committee will be assigned at the ramp by club president. No culling at the ramp.

Fees

Club membership dues are $15 per year and must be paid before fishing a tournament. Regular monthly tournament entry fee is $100, per boat, regardless of single, double or triple fisherman per boat. Of that $100, $30 is put into the year-end tournament fund. $70 from each boat is paid out at each tournament. Payout is one place per 4 entries. The year-end tournament is a two day event. Entry fee for the year end tournament is $20 per man, plus $15 per man for each tournament missed throughout the season. Year end big bass, heavy stringer and highest team points, all receive year-end cash prize.

Points

Points are awarded in each monthly tournament as follows:

1st – 100 points plus total weight. 2nd 99 points plus total weight, etc. Boats not weighing fish will receive 25 show points. Dead fish penalty in .2 per dead fish. Every tournament will have a five fish limit unless state or lake laws do not allow it. No constant trolling is allowed. If you get a lure hung up, you are allowed to set the rod down and continue fishing with another rod.

A fisherman must fish at least three regular season tournaments in order to qualify for the year end tournament, unless the club decides to allow an exception due to illness, etc.

Payback for year end is 1 per four boats and includes entry fees and monies collected from regular season tournaments throughout the year.

Year end points champion team receives $200. Heavy stringer team receives $50 and big bass of the year receives $50.

Launch order for every regular season tournament is based on time of entry. Year end launch order is points based.

Ties: Ties will be broken by # of fish weighed. If both teams have a limit, prize money will be split.

Protest: All protests must be submitted to weigh in committee before conclusion of weigh in.

Late Penalty: All anglers are due back at the announced check in time. Late penalty is 1 pound per minute up to ten minutes, then disqualification.

Safety: All boats must be equipped with a working “Kill Switch” and all boaters and non boaters must wear a coast guard approved life vest any time the gas motor is running and the boat is above plane. All fisherman must adhere to all local, state and federal regulations.
